Kindergartners love using their hands. Playdough/clay is a great way to help little muscles develop and strengthen. Forming letters, numbers, shapes, rolling, and cutting are excellent ways to stretch the imagination and reinforce learning. Below are two great resources for using playdoough/clay at home. Check them out!

Kids and Clay – "Clay and Kids: the natural way to learn," an article by Marvin Bartel, is a wonderful and artistic reminder of what can happen when
kids work with clay. http://www.goshen.edu/art/ed/clay&kids.htm
